Boot screen for Photoshop 3.0

Photoshop 3.0 is the third installment of Adobe Photoshop, code-named "Tiger Mountain". It was released for Macintosh in September 1994; and for Windows, IRIX, and Solaris systems in November 1994.

Photoshop 3.0 was one of the most important Photoshop versions to be released because it was the first version to ever offer layers. Layers are considered to be one of the most—if not the most—important features of Photoshop.

Version 3.0 also introduced tabbed palettes, which helped to conserve workspace real estate.
